Q: I recently performed a disk cleanup on my Vista system. Now, the Hibernate option is no longer listed. How can I restore this feature?

A: What you have done is deleted the Hibernation File Cleaner when you used disk cleanup. To restore Hibernation, please follow the instructions below:

Restore the Hibernation feature using the PowerCfg command-line tool:

 Go to Start

In the search field, type in: command prompt

Right click the Command Prompt entry

 Select "Run as administrator"

At the command prompt, type in: powercfg /hibernate on

 Press Enter on your keyboard

 Hibernation should now be restored.
