If the constant clicking sound as you navigate windows explorer is annoying you. It is simple to disable it. Here's how:

1.Go to Start
2.Select Control Panel
3.Select Sounds and Audio Devices
4.Select the Sounds tab
5.Scroll through the Programs list until you find "Start Navigation"
6.Select Start Navigation
7.With Start Navigation selected, open the drop down menu under the "Sounds:" category and select "None"
8.Click OK
