Devldr 16 has caused an error in Devcon32.dll. Devldr will now close. If you continue to experience problems, try restarting.
After installing Roxio PhotoSuite 5, a you may have had trouble getting other programs to open. You uninstalled the photo editor in an attempt to rectify the situation. Now you get an error message each time you start your computer.
It's only natural to associate a new error message with a program that you recently installed or removed from your PC. But sometimes the problem lies somewhere else. In this case, the error message most likely relates back to a Sound Blaster Live! sound card, not Roxio PhotoSuite. The driver (a program that allows a hardware component to communicate with the rest of the system) for this sound card uses the Devldr16.exe program to load the Devcon32.dll file for the purpose of supporting EAX (Environmental Audio Extensions) and other advanced audio technologies developed by Creative Labs.
You can fix this type of problem by installing the latest Sound Blaster Live! driver for your computer system. The drivers are available to download from the Creative Labs Customer Support site (www.americas.creative.com/support/welcome.asp). Select the Sound Blaster Live! card from the product menus and then click the Download Drivers link on the resulting page. Indicate which OS (operating system) you use and click the corresponding Driver Update hyperlink when it appears on-screen. accept the licensing agreement and launch the download. When the download is finished, locate the file on your PC and double-click it. Follow the instructions to install the driver on your system. Now, reboot your computer and reinstall Roxio PhotoSuite.
