there is no obvious way to hide the boxes for Nero 7 CoverDesigner
Hits:27
This feature was turned on by default in Nero 7.2.0.3's CoverDesigner 2.4.6.4, so users upgrading from previous versions started to find boxes around their text in printed labels and on Lightscribe discs. There is no plainly labeled "how box"or "hide box" checkbox in the Text Box Tool Properties panel, but there is a setting that will help.

In CoverDesigner, click the Object menu and Default Text Box Properties. Under the Pen tab, click the big, unlabeled X button and OK. This will keep future Text Box text from showing a box around it.

To remove a box from text already on your label project, right-click the text and choose Properties. Under the Pen tab, click the X and OK.
