My windows always open minimized

 Q: When using Internet Explorer 7, my windows always open minimized. I then have to maximize it from there. Is there a way that I can make IE7 open maximized and remember this setting?
 
 A: Sure. In both IE7 and Windows Explorer the method is the same. Just open the window, resize to your liking either by grabbing the edges with your mouse and pulling the edges to a desired size, or by just clicking the maximize box in the upper right of the window (next to the "X"). Then, immediately close the window by clicking the "X" in the upper right corner of the window. The next time you open the window, you will see the change. If that doesn't work, repeat the step above except when you attempt to close the window, try holding down the "CTRL" key on your keyboard and then click the "X".
