How do I defragment my C: in Windows XP?

1. Click on the Start menu

2. Select Settings-Control Panel

3. Double click on Administrative Tools

4. Double click on Computer Management

5. Click on Disk Defragmenter (you may have to click the + sign next to Storage to expand it)

6. In the right window pane, highlight the C:

7. Click the Analyze button to determine if your hard drive needs defragmented

8. Click the Defragment button
