How to set windows defender free anti spyware to automatically update?

Just a quick guide to show people how to set windows defender to automatically update.
Step1 Go to the start window.
Step2 Click on control panel.
Step3 Click on security.
Step4 Click on windows defender.
Step5 Click Tools, and then click Options.
Step6 Under Automatic scanning, make sure the Automatically scan my computer (recommended) check box is selected.
Step7 Select the Check for updated definitions before scanning check box, and then click Save. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Step8 Make sure you repeat these steps if you ever disable your windows defender for any reason. This may not be set as default.
